Culturally sensitive topics with a 'special' kind of approach, highlighting the dangers of social harms appropriately

As an experienced Trainer with over 15 years of experience working with BAME communities, Sadaf can develop and deliver workshops that build rapport with audiences through engaging sessions. Sadaf is able to empower and break down barriers and has used her skills to engage with vulnerable sections of the community. Her focus on the younger generation has created a much needed platform to engage in vital discussions, by tackling social harms head on. As a result, Sadaf's sessions have produced positive outcomes.

As a motivational speaker and qualified NLP Life Coach, Sadaf has the ability to deliver workshops and sessions to a variety of audiences on culturally sensitive issues. Her excellent rapport building skills with younger people have been fundamental in raising awareness on many culturally sensitive issues, which are often hard to address.

The addressing of social harms such as honour based violence, honour based killing, forced marriage and FGM, have to be approached 'sensitively' and 'appropriately' to younger audiences. Sadaf has excellent communication skills, empathy and the ability to deliver engaging workshops and sessions. These have been vital in facilitating discussions in a safe environment. Additionally, she has provided post session emotional support, if and when required. Her ability to understand eastern and western cultures allow her to see a multitude of perspectives that are often overlooked when educators deliver topics of a sensitive nature.

Her criminology research interests lie in violence against women and girls (VAWG), honour based violence/killing (HBV), forced marriage, British identity in a multi cultural society, hate crime and radicalisation.
