Ollie Forsyth left school aged 16. Being dyslexic meant school was not for him. He was badly bullied and told that he was a failure, but he became absolutely determined to prove the bullies wrong. Having always been interested in entrepreneurship, earning money from walking the dog and making tea as a child, he decided this was a direction he could succeed in. He created Ollie's Shop, an online gift boutique, which has been an enormous success.
Having appeared in over 100 magazines and newspapers in the last three years, he decided to start his own entrepreneur’s magazine, The Budding Entrepreneur Magazine. The idea was to encourage people to start their own business by receiving inspirational stories. Having built a strong networking around entrepreneurs, Ollie is also launching The Budding Entrepreneur Club which is an entrepreneurs' networking club which launches in London in September followed by multiple cities afterwards.
He wants to share the knowledge he has gathered on his journey to encourage students and young people to start their own businesses. He has met some of the most successful people in the world including the man himself, Richard Branson.
Ollie has also been shortlisted for The Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2015 (Young Entrepreneur) and was Highly Recommended and Runner Up in The Queens Young Leaders Award 2016. He has appeared on BBC Victoria Derbyshire and ITV This Morning, and has worked as a journalist for Virgin.
