A native New Yorker, Mindy has lived in the UK for the past 31 years, and she likes to think she brings the best of both worlds to her audiences. She moved to the UK without knowing anyone. She founded several businesses, one of which nearly went bankrupt before Mindy built it up and sold it.
Mindy is now focused on helping more young people gain the confidence they need to accept themselves, challenge themselves and express themselves.She is also a fierce advocate and role model for female leadership and encouraging more thoughtfulness in society.

These issues tend to affect girls even more than boys, but these girls can benefit from a strong female role model who has been through quite a few challenges herself.
She has been the only female leader in many boardrooms and events, and she is an outspoken advocate for inclusivity and belonging. She is a Top 10 Thought Leader in this space (awarded by Thinkers 360).
However, her proudest achievement is bringing up her two children. The journey was not easy … Mindy has a transgender son and admits she doesn’t think she handled things particularly well. However, she has shared her story of courage and vulnerability in a TEDx talk, which has already had 800,000+ views on YouTube.
