"Fantastic opportunity from Kathryn for our students to learn more about businesses including the obstacles to overcome and how to succeed. Kathryn delivered a presentation that engaged the students from the start and got them thinking about their future, the skills they can get from their time at school and how important it is to be determined and not quit when things get more challenging. They had some fabulous questions for Kathryn and it was inspiring to see so many of our students stay behind at the end to talk to Kathryn and ask questions; a reflection of how she put the students at ease and made them feel confident enough to be able to do this. Definitely a motivating start to the day for both staff and students."

"It is always a little nerve wracking asking the SLT for funding to invite speakers into the school and keeping your fingers crossed that they will deliver a fun and engaging workshop. I needn't have worried! Kathryn brought the energy and enthusiasm that you might have seen on 'The Apprentice' straight into the classroom and kept our business and non-business students engaged throughout her time at the school. Many students commented afterwards how inspiring Kathryn's story was and challenged a fair few to consider whether a move into the business world might actually be a move in the not too distant future! "The preparation for the engagement was thorough and careful, it was clear to see Kathryn was keen to understand and embrace the messages we wanted to get across to the students and were willing to weave them into her stories - this is not always the case and it is very much appreciated. Kathryn’s presentation was excellent, engaging and articulate. Whilst it did last a full 30-40 minutes the students were kept engaged throughout with your personal charisma and carefully crafted journey. The opportunity for them to respond to you throughout with questions that helped them relate to the message was effective and the question-and-answer session at the end meant that each audience could adapt the core themes to their own perspective."
