Jo is an extremely motivated and highly experienced professional, who has over the past 13 years developed a wide range of skills, knowledge and experience from working with voluntary and community, social enterprise, and SME sectors across the UK.
She works with a wide range of organisations across all sectors including museums and art galleries, sports organisations, educational charities, military trusts, and health and social care enterprises, working at both grassroots and strategic levels. Having worked in economic regeneration for over thirteen years she has gained a wealth of experience, knowledge and skills of working in different environments and sectors
She shares with students key skills which include business and action planning, partnership development, funding diversification and income generation, organisational development, sustainability planning, marketing, training and facilitation.
Jo runs her own consultancy business providing advice and guidance for charities, social enterprise, public and SME sectors on a wide range of management, development and sustainability issues. Her ultimate aim is to help organisations become more robust and viable by recognising and addressing limitations, issues and barriers, then supporting them to source new opportunities, partnerships and resources that will enable them to gain momentum and develop their organisation in a sustainable way.
