Charlie struggled through education and work without understanding why. Then, in her 40s, she was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD, helping her to understand that she was not broken, but her brain was wired differently was typical. Now Charlie works in neurodiversity inclusion, as a popular keynote speaker promoting understanding, acceptance and support across society for all kinds of minds.
She is also known as ‘Ausome Charlie’ (she/they) is a professional speaker, an experienced CIPD-qualified HR Analyst, and a popular and influential neurodiversity advocate. Charlie is neurodivergent (Autistic, ADHD, Complex PTSD), bisexual/pansexual and gender non-conforming.
Charlie’s talks centre her own lived experience and insights, underpinned with expertise in employment legislation and inclusion theory, and delivered with authentically neurodivergent quirkiness and self-deprecating humour.
