Charlie Hart

Charlie Hart (she/they) also known as ‘Ausome Charlie’ is a positive neurodivergent role model (Autistic and ADHD), engaging speaker about neurodiversity, and a popular 'AuDHD' social media micro-influencer.

Charlie struggled through education and work without understanding why. Then, in her 40s, she was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD, helping her to understand that she was not broken, but her brain was wired differently was typical. Now Charlie works in neurodiversity inclusion, as a popular keynote speaker promoting understanding, acceptance and support across society for all kinds of minds.

She is also known as ‘Ausome Charlie’ (she/they) is a professional speaker, an experienced CIPD-qualified HR Analyst, and a popular and influential neurodiversity advocate. Charlie is neurodivergent (Autistic, ADHD, Complex PTSD), bisexual/pansexual and gender non-conforming.

Charlie’s talks centre her own lived experience and insights, underpinned with expertise in employment legislation and inclusion theory, and delivered with authentically neurodivergent quirkiness and self-deprecating humour.

Unafraid to tackle emotive topics other speakers avoid, Charlie is not another happy-flappy neurodiversity advocate; she speaks of dark clouds and silver linings, of adversity and resilience, and will leave you inspired and hopeful.

Testimonials from Teachers

"Uffculme School is working closely with Inclusion Labs to help create a DEI Strategy to help serve our community and create a great place to work. We kicked off the partnerships with an event at Edgbaston Stadium. Temi Akindele Barker from Inclusion Labs started the day off with a passionate presentation about the importance of creating inclusive schools. This message was further developed by Che Barnes of View from on Gender Diversity and all the Labels, and Charlie Hart aka “Ausome Charlie” on neurodiversity in the workplace. What an amazing start to our partnership, an eye opener of a day which left us all wanting to learn more"

– Roseanne Marston, Strategic Business Manager, Uffculme School

"Charlie delivered an excellent and interactive presentation to staff on supporting neurodiverse colleagues in the workplace. It was informative, honest and compelling due to her own lived experiences and helped us to embed a culture of inclusion in our group of schools. Would highly recommend."

– Michelle Gabriel, Director of People, Washwood Heath Multi Academy Trust

"Charlie organised a panel talk ‘Neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+: The ‘Double Rainbow’ Intersection’ for Neurodiversity Celebration week 2024 and invited me to be on the panel. She was an absolute pleasure to work with; well organised, supportive and was a great chair with a charming mix of lived experience with knowledge. If you need an engaging speaker Charlie is for you. Great working with you Charlie!"
