Who is Cat? She is a best-selling Puffin author and one of Europe’s leading storytellers. She travels the world, performing at major festivals and writing about her adventures as she goes. Often she works with the British Council to promote storytelling abroad, working in international schools and colleges from Kazakhstan to Saudi Arabia. She has been a professional Artist in Education for twenty five years, working with thousands of children in hundreds of schools.
Creative writing workshops for juniors include her ever-popular ‘Quest’ workshop, which explores narrative structure through an Arthurian model. The workshop is a lesson in clear reasoning, debating, collaboration and the acceptance of others’ ideas, as several creative options are (unexpectedly) reduced down to one.
