A very popular enterprise event, The Dragons Challenge seesstudents split into mixed ability groups with the aim of launching a brand new product that they feel will be successful in today’s market place. They will work through a number of business related tasks such as product development, brainstorming ideas, needs of the customer, four P's of marketing and also social media and the web.
Before they present their ideas to the panel of ‘Dragons’ they will get a talk from a real life entrepreneur and someone who has visited the Den such as Sue Stone, Mark Northeast or Chris Barnardo. They will give the students advice on pitching before taking their seat as one of the Dragons.
The Dragons Challenge workshop has a strong business and enterprise focus as well as developing other transferable skills such as teamwork, confidence and public speaking. The day represents a fantastic opportunity for your students to meet some of the country’s top business brains. It also is a great opportunity for schools to showcase themselves in the local media.
