Based loosely on the hit TV show, students will be split into mixed ability groups and compete against each other in Apprentice type tasks. The tasks will have a strong business and enterprise focus as well as working on other transferable skills such as teamwork, confidence and public speaking.
Each task will be judged with the groups competing against each other. After the morning activities the group will then be set their final task which they will have to perform in front of the whole year group as well as the Apprentice judges. There will then be prizes for the winning group and also overall Apprentice winner.
In addition, each Apprentice Challenge day could include a visit from one of the stars of the hit TV show courtesy of School Speakers, meaning your school could receive a visit from people such as Claire Young, Alex Epstein, Leon Doyle or Apprentice winner Lee McQueen.
The day represents a fantastic opportunity for students to meet some of the country’s top business brains. It also is a great opportunity for schools to showcase themselves in the local media.
This workshop is run by Enterprising Days in conjunction with School Speakers.
