Suitable for Key Stage 1 and 2 students, Creative Food Workshop is an interactive way to teach children about healthy food and drinks.
Starting in the morning with our ‘discovery’ session, children get to taste and discuss different healthy ingredients, and using worksheets, test their knowledge of fruits and vegetables and their growing environments.
In our ‘design’ lesson, the children draw and label their food creation before sitting down with the fresh ingredients to create their masterpiece. Developing fine motor skills is all part of this task as they cut and shape different ingredients using simple tools.
Finally, the best part of the day comes when they get to ‘devour’ what they have made.
This creative food workshop will have the children talking long after their plates are wiped clean.
