Designed to educate students on the world of enterprise and its 13 key skills, School Speakers has developed a range of fun and interactive enterprise days. These are either full or half-day sessions delivered by some of the UK's leading entrepreneurs.

Claire Young's Business Bootcamp

The ‘Enterprise Masterclass’ is a one day bootcamp consisting of business orientated tasks designed to engage and challenge students. As well as embedding an enterprise mindset and approach, the day will enhance the development of key skills.

The Apprentice Challenge

Based loosely on the hit TV show, students will be split into mixed ability groups and compete against each other in Apprentice type tasks. The tasks will have a strong business and enterprise focus as well as working on other transferable skills such as teamwork, confidence and public speaking.

The Dragons Challenge

​A very popular enterprise event, The Dragons Challenge sees students split into mixed ability groups with the aim of launching a brand new product that they feel will be successful in today’s market place. They will work through a number of business related tasks such as product development, brainstorming ideas, needs of the customer, four P's of marketing and also social media and the web.

Creative Food Workshop

​Suitable for Key Stage 1 and 2 students, Creative Food Workshop is an interactive way to teach children about healthy food and drinks.

Funky Lunch Enterprise Challenge

​Designed especially for secondary school, the Funky Lunch Enterprise Challenge sets students the task of creating a fun sandwich that could be sold on a supermarket shelf.

Enterprising Journalism

​Newspapers frequently report that team-working, problem-solving and decision-making are the most sought-after skills employers demand. No-one knows that better than the reporters on those newspapers - all good journalists must have those skills.

Xing Smoothies Enterprise Days

​In this fun filled enterprise day, pupils officially become part of the Xing Smoothie team and undertake an interactive marketing and product development task for the production of a new smoothie drink.The workshop will see students learn to put the five P's (place, product, promotion, price, people) into practice. Once they have completed their tasks they then have to present their new products to the dragons to scrutinise!

Brand Me

​Presented by Xing Smoothies, Brand Me enables students to explore the benefits and pitfalls of social media including aspects of personal branding, reputation and self-promotion. It teaches pupils how to harness the power of the internet to gain advantages over the competition and help secure job or new business opportunities.

The Soap Challenge

​Aimed at secondary school pupils, The Soap Challenge is an interactive product development workshop that will see students work in teams to create a brand new, hand-crafted, natural soap company.

The Market Challenge

Apprentice TV star Adam Corbally started his first business on his local market aged 19 selling fruit and vegetables two days a week. He quickly grew the business into a wholesale operation importing Fruit, Vegetables, Christmas Trees, Plants and Flowers from Europe to sell on to businesses across the North West of England.

Teen-Trepreneur ‘iLead’

​The Teen-Trepreneur ‘iLead’ is an action packed one day programme designed to develop and harness the entrepreneurial soft skills required for students to tackle the fast-changing world. Every student plays the role of decision makers, whilst wearing multiple hats and putting it all into practice by running their own business competing with others through the Teen-Trepreneur board game.

What’s your WHY

Participants will be able to define the key elements of entrepreneurship by the end of the session and will take part in practical problem solving activities which will build their appetite for enterprise and entrepreneurship. By working in teams and brainstorming, students will develop a business plan (with a Minimum Viable Product) based on the Lean Startup Methodology.
